De Gea has left United after severing a 12-year relationship

De Gea has left United after severing a 12-year relationship. David De Gea left Atletico Madrid to join Manchester United in 2011. He then spent the last 12 years at the Old Trafford club. Eventually that relationship is going to break. The Spanish goalkeeper is leaving Manchester United.

De Geer’s contract expired at the end of the season. Rumors were, this loyal fighter is leaving the club. However, just before the end of the term, United said in a statement that they are in talks with the Spaniard about his future. It was known that both parties will renew the contract. But in the end it didn’t happen anymore. De Gea is looking for a new challenge after ending a 12-year spell at United.
