Manchester City had gone four games without a win before their win against Luton Town. City fans received bad news before the match on Sunday after losing 1-0 against Aston Villa in the last match. Before the match, City coach Pep Guardiola said that Holland, the best striker of the team, was knocked out due to a bone injury.

However, the league champions came back into the match in the second half. 62 to 65, City turned the game around by scoring two goals in these three minutes. Bernardo Silva equalized the Citizens in the 62nd minute. Jack Grealish put the team ahead three minutes later. Grealish-Alvarez wasted many opportunities against Luton despite being ahead in attack today. But in the end, Guardiola’s team left Luton’s Kenilworth Road with a comfortable victory.

Despite the win after four matches, City is fourth in the points table with 33 points from 16 matches. Liverpool are on top with 37 points in a draw. Arsenal and Aston Villa are next with 36 and 35 points respectively.
Meanwhile, Chelsea lost again in another match of the day. After losing 2-1 to Manchester United in the last match, Pochettino’s team lost 2-0 to Everton today. Abdoulaye Dokore and Lewis Dobbin scored for Everton. Chelsea has dropped to the 12th position in the table with 19 points in 16 matches. Everton is 17th in the table with 13 points in the match.
