In the second leg of the last sixteen of the Champions League, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid met in one match on Wednesday (March 13) and PSV and Borussia Dortmund played in another match. Although the German club easily secured the next round, the Inter-Atletico match was thrilling.
Despite losing the first leg 1–0 to Inter, Atletico Madrid beat them in a tiebreaker at home to reach the last eight. The Spanish club won the scheduled 120-minute game 2-1.
Through this, 8 teams have been confirmed, who will play in the quarter finals of the Champions League. Most of these 8 teams are from Spain. Along with Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona have made it to the last eight.

Meanwhile, two teams each from Germany and England have made it to the last eight. Bayern and Dortmund from Germany, and Arsenal and reigning Champions League champions Manchester City from England.
