Pele was admitted to the hospital in late 2022 as part of a routine checkup after suffering from chronic kidney and prostate cancer. But he did not return from there. This legend left the world at the age of 82 while undergoing treatment at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo on December 29 of that year.
