The start date of the Premier League has been announced. The English Premier League 2024-25 season will be played on the field with the match of Manchester United and Fulham. The 380-match season started on August 16 and will end on May 25 next year.

Announcing the schedule, the Premier League authorities said that the teams will be given more rest time than before. As a result, no team has to play two matches within 60 hours. Chelsea and Wolves met on Christmas afternoon last year. But this year there is no match on Christmas afternoon.
The 3 new teams for the 2024-25 season are – Ipswich Town, Southampton and Leicester City. After 22 years, Ipswich returned to the first tier of the league. Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton Town are relegated.
The team change has started from June 14 ahead of the 2024-25 season. The summer transfer ends on August 30.

This season’s matches will be broadcast live by Sky Sports. They will show at least 215 matches. They have a 4-year contract with the Premier League.
