Portugal will face Liechtenstein and Luxembourg in the qualifiers for the Euro Championship at the end of this month. Portugal’s football federation announced the 26-member team on Friday (March 17) ahead of these two matches.
Where Cristiano Ronaldo, who turned 38 last February, has taken his place. About him, the new coach Roberto Martinez said, “Cristiano Ronaldo is a committed player. His experience is very important for the team. I don’t look at age.”
Portugal will play against Liechtenstein on March 23 and Luxembourg on March 26 in the qualifiers for the Euro Championship.
