PSG have signed Ramos on a one-year loan from Portuguese club Benfica. If he can perform as expected, the French club also has the option of signing a full contract with him. PSG confirmed the inclusion of Gonzalo Ramos in the team on Monday (August 7).
According to various media reports, PSG has taken him on loan this season due to complications related to ‘Financial Fair Play’. The French club will take the Portuguese youngster on a permanent contract at the end of the season.
Raised in Benfica’s academy from the age of 12, Ramos made his debut in the club’s first team in 2020. Ramos played 106 matches for Benfica and scored 41 goals, assisting 16 goals.

Ramos was able to enter the field at the very end in the first two matches of the World Cup in Qatar. Later, the coach replaced Ronaldo in the best eleven against Switzerland in the last sixteen. In international football for the first time in the starting eleven, he scored a hat-trick and assisted a goal.
